Nowitzki re-signs with Mavericks
Apparently, the grass wasn’t greener on the other side for Dallas Mavericks star forward Dirk Nowitzki.
Opting out of his contract to become a free agent, Nowitzki returned to the Mavericks, signing a four-year deal worth $100 million.
It’s unknown whether Nowitzki really wanted to leave Dallas or was just looking to return with a better contract.
Either way, the signing of Nowitzki keeps Dallas among the contenders in the Western Conference.
The multi-time All-Star has spent his entire 12-year NBA career with Dallas and is a favorite of owner Mark Cuban.
